Faith, it’s not just because you’re a transplant to Vermont that you feel this way about the library- I got sad just hearing about the self-checkout at Ilsley! For one, I don’t think I ever brought my card to the library growing up, because all the librarians knew me by name. I enjoy reading your blog, by the way!
